Why should I become a Sa Taronja member?

 

There are many good reasons for becoming a member - quite apart from the warm feeling you get from knowing you are helping to keep alive one of the most unusual cultural institutions on the island.

 

Being a SA TARONJA member implies

 

... your support for art and culture in general, and in particular, for one of the only independent cultural centres on the island.

... that you think it is important to ensure the continuation of an international cultural programme beyond the walls of Palma.

... that you believe it is important to provide a platform for local and international artists, and to foster new talent.

... that you support efforts to ensure a free, creative and healthy environment for the citizens of Mallorca and their children.

 

 

Among the benefits you receive by being a Sa Taronja-member:

 

- Between 20 and 50% reduction in ticket-prices

- Priority booking for popular events

- Regular invitations to cultural happenings, vernissages and special events

- you are also invited to pick your own oranges and lemons (up to 5 kg in season!)

- the opportunity to show your work (subject to approval by our artistic committee), to use the installations or hold a private party on the member's terrace, once a year, at no cost.

Children up to the age of 16 are admitted free to all events. All members receive membership cards and regular news by email. Artists who wish to rent studios, work, practice or use the facilities at Sa Taronja must be members. Any project that a member wishes to carry out at Sa Taronja must be approved by the managing committee.

 

Annual membership is 100€ or

150€ for two people living at the same address.
